Amanda just completed a six-year tenure as a Community Banker in Merchants & Marine Bank’s Lucedale office, and we feel fortunate to have her on our startup team at Canvas. Many of you who know Amanda realize what an expert she is in all things banking and financial services, especially with regard to the world of mortgage lending.  She comes by this expertise honestly and through years of hard work and committed learning, spending nearly four decades in the banking industry.  Amanda is truly an expert lender, with 18 years of experience as a community bank loan officer and 14 years spent originating mortgage loans.

Like her new Canvas Mortgage teammates, Amanda has a deep passion for helping others and making a difference in the lives of homebuyers and homeowners. A Lucedale, Mississippi native, she attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College while investing her life in and around our Mississippi Gulf Coast.

If you know anything about Amanda, you know how much she loves cooking and gardening. Married to husband Randy Brown for 39 years, she has a son and daughter-in-law who has slated Amanda to become a grandmother this fall.
